We were very happily surprised to receive notification this week that our tours will feature in the 2018 Australia edition of Lonely Planet Guide.
“Lonely Planet has been our travelling companion just about everywhere we’ve been. We would have missed a lot of highlights without it. We never leave home without one!”
We’re travellers. We’ve never been to Bali or Thailand but we’ve been to Brazil on a jaguar tour and Uruguay for a wedding. And the Cinque Terre and other places in Italy and up to the Orkneys and northern section of Scotland. And seven African nations. And diving with humpback whales in Tonga. And walking in NZ. And over 17,500km up the WA Coast, across the Gibb and Tanami and down through the red centre.
And everywhere we go, every trip we take – we try to get hold of a Lonely Planet guide.
With a Lonely Planet guide in hand, we’ve found amazing local landmarks and historical sites, incredible photo opportunities and more that we may otherwise known nothing about. Our books are scarred. Highlighted bits, tagged bits, scribbled notes. A work in progress as we explore the territory we are in. So worth it.
“To be feautured in the 2018 Australia Lonely Planet Guide is such an hon;our. To us as small regional tour operators, it’s gold. We’re on such a high. We never imagined this would happen when we started out 3 years ago….”
We’ve already taken plenty of international visitors on tours. This may change that – we’d better be ready for some extra bookings.
