We haven’t been idle during the colder months and have even taken a few keen paddlers on tour, despite the cold fingers and toes!  The river has settled well after a massive East Coast Low in early June – king tides + over 300mm rain can make a dramatic impact!

We’re very excited about the new Full Day tour we will be offering this season.  This tour will continue past our usual downriver stopover spot and on through the famous ‘jungle hole’ and then into the wider estuary as the river opens up near the mouth.

Lunch will be enjoyed on the beautiful little beach just inside the river mouth and then paddlers can stretch their legs with a walk on the beach or take time out to explore the nearby Davidson’s Historic Whaling Station.  We will hang around till the tide turns so we can paddle home with ease.

This tour will be offered only at times when the tides suit – keep an eye on our Facebook page for dates as the warmer weather draws closer.
